Abstract
Permasalahan kesejahteraan sosial selalu ada dalam kehidupan manusia, tidak terkecuali dalam suatu lingkungan masyarakat. Beragam potensi yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat desa yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk membantu pengembangan dan kemandirian desa mereka, antara lain adanya lembaga atau institusi sosial, serta nilai-nilai yang mendukung pembangunan seperti nilai kebersamaan, gotong royong dan kesetiakawanan. Apabila potensi tersebut tidak dapat dijaga maka akan memudar dan mungkin akan menghilang. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan peran serta masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan potensi yang ada. Sehingga masyarakat dapat mengatasi permasalahan kesejahteraan sosial yang ada di lingkungan
mereka.
