Potensi Kesejahteraan Sosial Masyarakat Desa Padaawas Kecamatan Pasirwangi Kabupaten Garut
Abstract
Desa Padaawas merupakan salah satu desa di Propinsi Jawa Barat yang terletak cukup jauh dari ibukota Negara Indonesia. Sebagai daerah yang jauh dari pusat kota, membuat masyarakat Desa Padaawas mengalami tantangan-tantangan dalam pemenuhan kesejahteraan sosialnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan potensi-potensi yang dimiliki oleh Desa Padaawas untuk mencapai kesejahteraan dan penghidupan yang berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal), wawancara mendalam kepada para tokoh masyarakat dan observasi kepada kehidupan keseharian masyarakat Desa Padaawas. Penelitian menemukan potensi-potensi sumber daya alam dan manusia yang dapat menunjang kehidupan berkelanjutan warga desa dan mencapai kesejahteraan sosialnya.
