Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami secara mendalam mengenai pengalaman hidup pada remaja korban eksploitasi seksual komersial. Di Indonesia kasus ini semakin menunjukkan kompleksitasnya. Remaja menjadi korban tidak hanya karena terjerat di dalam lingkaran perdagangan manusia untuk tujuan eksploitasi seksual komersial, akan tetapi juga terdapat remaja dengan pengalaman hidup yang membuatnya rentan untuk dieksploitasi secara seksual. Penelitian ini akan fokus pada remaja pada kelompok kedua. Disain penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan dan observasi non partisipan. Jumlah partisipan keseluruhan adalah 8 remaja perempuan yang berusia 17-24 tahun yang menjadi korban eksploitasi seksual komersial sejak usia 14-17 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berbagai faktor kerentanan, dalam ranah lingkungan keluarga dan teman sebaya, serta faktor sosial-psikologis perkembangan fase remaja. Selain itu, terdapat kondisi yang memperkuat kerentanan remaja, seperti perilaku seks bebas dan perasaan kehilangan harga diri, serta kebutuhan akan uang. Sedangkan dampak-dampak yang ditimbulkan meliputi dampak fisik, psikologis, dan pendidikan. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan kepada pekerja sosial khususnya dalam bidang perlindungan anak dan remaja dalam upaya penanganan dan pencegahan remaja untuk menjadi korban eksploitasi seksual.
