Abstract

Model Pelayanan Lanjut Usia berbasiskan Sistem Kekerabatan merupakan alternatif model pelayanan bagi Lanjut Usia. Model pelayanan ini bersandarkan pada pendekatan Change from below. Pelayanan dilakukan dengan mengoptimalkan sistem kekerabatan berdasar pengetahuan lokal, budaya lokal, sumber lokal, keterampilan yang mereka miliki dengan mengedepankan system kerja yang bersifat kekeluargaan. Hasil uji coba model ini telah mampu memperkuat nilai-nilai kebersamaan dalam berbagai pelayanan kesejahteraan. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif, pada Suku Bugis di Kabupaten Barru, Sulawesi Selatan. Kata kunci: lanjut usia, pelayanan sosial, sistem kekerabatan
