Abstract
Intervensi psikososial oleh pekerja sosial pada lansia yang mendapatkan rehabilitasi sosial di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha (PSTW) Minaula Kendari diharapkan dapat mengembangkan keberfungsian sosial para lansia. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendokumentasikan implementasi perspektif kekuatan dalam upaya meningkatkan keberfungsian sosial lanjut usia (lansia) di PSTW Minaula Kendari. Kajian deksriptif kualitatif ini melibatkan 11 orang informan lansia penerima manfaat PSTW Minaula kendari serta dua pekerja sosial dan pembimbing keterampilan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam, pengamatan berpartisipasi dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan perspektif kekuatan kepada para lansia, terdapat beberapa bentuk keberfungsian sosial pada lansia di PSTW Minaula yakni keberfungsian dalam aspek pelestarian budaya, transfer pengetahuan (pendidik), spiritual dan keberfungsian dalam aspek transfer nilai-nilai moral kehidupan kepada generasi muda.
